COMPLETED PROJECTS: ACHIEVEMENTS

John Austin Constructions has designed and constructed numerous large construction projects.

The following is not a complete list of all the projects we have undertaken, however these projects are indicative of our expertise, attention to quality, the range of our capacities and the scope of our project undertakings.

• Woolnorth Dairy Conversion and MBA Excellence Awards
  John Austin Constructions takes pride in producing a cost effective, quality product within given time restraints and is proud to have won the prestigious Master Builder's Association Award for Excellence in Housing and Dairy Construction on the Woolnorth Dairy Conversion Project.
  This project saw the construction of eight houses for Van Diemens Land Company and numerous steel framed buildings consisting of workshops, calf sheds and utility buildings. The Company also designed and constructed four large rotary dairies, one of these being at the time the largest rotary dairy in the Southern Hemisphere.
  We have built a further eight large rotary dairies for the same company, which illustrates our success in our commitment to achieve complete customer satisfaction.

• Tasman Agriculture
  John Austin Constructions designed and constructed fifteen large herringbone dairies varying in size from 30 to 40 bail units for Tasman Agriculture, a New Zealand Corporate Company.

• Coorong Dairies
  We have successfully completed two large dairies projects for Coorong Dairies a South Australian Corporate Company.

• Tauwitchere Pastoral Company
  Considered to be probably the most state of the art dairy to be built in Australia, this sixty bail rotary boasts the latest in computer technology with provision for the installation of robotics.

• Clyne's Dairy at Maffra, Victoria.
  A rotary dairy with circular yard and underpass at exit and entry areas

• Janssen's Dairy near Moama, New South Wales.
  A sixty unit dairy with circular yard and mezzanine floor

• McInnes's Dairy near Portland Victoria.
  Rapid exit dairy with circular yard

• Zilm's Dairy at Birdwood South Australia.
  Award winning rapid exit dairy with circular yard

• Bell's Dairy at Bunbury Western Australia.
  A rotary dairy with indexing rails and platform without a centre pivot and circular yard

These are some of the many projects undertaken by John Austin Constructions. Our commitment to producing quality products allowed us to win the Master Builder's Association CSR concrete awards in 2003 for Excellence in a project of under $1,000,000, with our rapid exit dairy in Birdwood, South Australia.
